For more than twenty years, I have been learning from children. My years of work experience range from learning centers to summer camps to elementary schools. For the past eleven years, I have been on an adventure-not on a "magic school bus," but on a bookmobile serving as driver and mobile librarian. I consider it a privilege to be in a position to touch the minds of the next generation through the power of words. I have been writing since I was ten years old. I have a degree in English writing and literature, and two diplomas from the Institute of Children's Literature. When I am not reading or writing, I enjoy swimming and spending time with my family at home in Elizabethtown, PA. However, my home away from home is the children's section of any library or bookstore.
