You can dream BIG no matter your age.  Maybe you're young, maybe you're old, or maybe you're an age in-between.  I was just ten years old when I started journaling.  This is when I had my BIG dream of becoming a children's book author when I grew up!

Many, many years later (I won't tell you how many years later) I am writing books for children and youth.  I am the author of a middle grade realistic fiction book, "Half on Tuesdays."  This book placed as finalist in the Next Generation INDIE Book Awards.  My short story, "The Anywhere Home" placed as a winner in the 2025 Next Generation INDIE Short Story Contest.  But my writing heart always brings me back to picture books.  My picture books, "The Colors of Jesus" and "Captain Barlow's Pirate Ship" are slated for publication winter of 2025.

For the past twenty plus years I have been learning from children.  I consider it a privilege to be in a position to touch the hearts and minds of the next generation through the power of words.

I live in Lancaster PA. My favorite place to be is at my desk inhaling words, exhaling stories, this is me writing!
